Usher in fall enjoying some of the year’s best independent non-fiction cinema on the coast of Maine at the 6th annual Camden International Film Festival.
Join us in downtown Camden, Rockport and Rockland, Maine for a program that includes screenings of nearly fifty documentary features and shorts, the Points North Documentary Forum and the Made in Maine showcase at the Camden Opera House, Bayview Street Cinema, Farnsworth Art Museum, Strand Theatre and Rockport Opera House with Q&As from visiting filmmakers from across the globe. The weekend also boasts a number of other offerings running in conjunction with the festival including several live musical performances, art exhibits, panels and other special events. We'd like to think its a pretty darn good weekend, but don't take our word for it, buy a pass and see it for yourself!
Pass levels are structured to allow audiences the most customized opportunities to experience the CIFF and are a great way for any individual to support the future growth of our organization.
Passes may be purchased online through October 1, 2010 as well as at the Strand Theatre Box Office starting on September 15, 2010 and can be picked up at the CIFF Box Office starting on Wednesday, September 29 at 12:00pm. Instructions on pass pickup will be emailed upon purchase.
VIP Pass – $100.00
This pass is the only way to experience the complete festival and gets you into any and everything at CIFF over the course of the entire weekend, with a priority queue at all screenings. This pass also includes an invitation to all VIP only events with guests including top emerging documentary filmmakers and industry representatives.
VIP-only events include:
- Opening Night Reception and Opening Night Party - Thursday, September 30
- Friday Night Lights - Friday, October 1
- CIFF Cocktail Reception @ Dowling Walsh Gallery - Saturday, October 2
- Saturday Night Party, October 2
- Closing Night Awards Ceremony and Reception - Sunday, October 3

Film Pass –$65.00
This pass gets you into all screenings and panels throughout the course of the weekend with a priority queue at all films.
Note: VIP and Film Pass-holders must arrive at the appropriate venue at least 15 minutes before the screening begins in order to access priority queue. All seating is as available.
Points North Pass - $25.00
This pass get you into all panels, networking events and receptions at the Points North Forum. Come and learn from key industry decision makers in a relaxed environment. For more information on the forum, click here.
Points North Day Ticket - $15.00
This ticket gets you into either day of the Points North Forum which runs concurrently with the festival on Friday, October 1 and Saturday October 2. Come for the films, stay for the networking! For more information on the forum, click here.
NOTE: Day Tickets to Points North can only be purchased day-of at the appropriate Points North venues.
Individual Tickets - $8.50
Admits one to one screening. Individual tickets may be purchased at screening venues (as available) prior to showtime.

Travel
The Camden International Film Festival is located in Camden, Rockport and Rockland, Maine, three of the prettiest coastal towns in all of New England. The age old Maine saying, "you can't get there from here" need not apply to CIFF. There are an array of options that will make your trip up the coast enjoyable and part of this unique experience!
If you are traveling from the south, CIFF is reachable by plane, train or automobile.
By Automobile:
From points south, follow I-95 through New Hampshire and into Maine. Get off at 295 N - Portland. Follow that until exit 28: Coastal Route 1N, Bath / Brunswick. Following Route 1 will take you directly through downtown Rockland, home of CIFF venues The Strand and Farnsworth Art Museum. Stay in Rockland, or continue 7 miles on Route 1 until you enter Camden.
By Plane:
Daily flights from Boston to Rockland through Cape Air are easy, quite affordable and offer one of the most spectacular views of the Maine coast. For more information, visit www.flycapeair.com. Make sure to rent a car from Budget upon arrival (207-594-0822).
By Train:
If you are feeling a bit old-school and are looking for a way to see more of the state, why not a train? Visit maineeasternrailroad.com for more information. The train makes daily trips to Rockland from Brunswick.
By Bus:
Concord Trailways is one of the best bus experiences in the world. They provide great movies, snacks and water and even a chance to experience a singing driver.
